腐国人民爱读书几乎已经成了地球人都知道的事实,为什么他们这么热爱阅读?他们的阅读习惯是怎么培养的?我们的孩子怎么能爱上阅读?这些问题直到小编看到12月12日牛津博士延平来合璧儿做择校讲座时,不吝分享给大家的一份老牌名校The Laytmer School,7年级(相当于国内的初一)的阅读书目与阅读指导时,心里才有了答案。看完之后,小编感到中英两国在母语阅读的学习和培养上真有很大的差距,无论是推荐书目范围,类型的广泛,还是如何阅读,如何提升阅读效果,引导孩子思考或是怎么更进一步帮助孩子迈出创造性阅读与写作的第一步,他们显然已经比我们思考过更多,走得更远,所以小编激动之余匆匆动笔翻译出来以飨读者。关于读书,关于写作,其实我们也可以这样来教给我们的孩子。(前方高能预警,篇幅很长,文末更有料)

Rules of the Reading Challenge

1.Choose a book from the reading list in this booklet. They are all available from the school library. You may also borrow a book from a public library, or bring in your own copy.
 
从本阅读清单手册中选择书籍,这些书籍都在学校图书馆,你也可以从公共图书馆借阅或复印。
 
2.The book you choose must be one that you have not read before.

3.You must bring the book and your planner to each reading class.

4.Ask your parent or guardian to sign your target when you have completed it.

5.Merits and Reading Medals will be awarded by your English teacher for each book read, adventurous reading and great reviews.

Everyone moves at their own pace with reading. As you read more, you should notice differences. You may feel more confident about choosing books, or more prepared to try different books and authors.
